HOMES Inspection founder Chris Smallwood has over 20 years of construction experience and another 10 years of performing inspections. He offers a lifetime of training and hands-on experience to help homeowners identify problems, improve structures, and complete renovations safely.
Chris began his building career with a BA in Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Graduate in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University. These twin disciplines give him a unique perspective on how design and construction combine, finding ways to improve structures with an eye on sustainability, reuse, and historic preservation.
